Well, maybe, but it's worth a try. I've been thinking about making a hobby a business for a little while and a couple of months ago struck on an idea to make (yes, make my own!) hemp rope and sell it to kinksters. Since then I've been sourcing materials and experimenting on techniques to make the best hemp rope for bondage I can. I've also been setting up the company proper which is a major pain in the ass (and not in a good way) which has frankly occupied more of my time than manufacturing!

The website's not quite ready and I'm still waiting on my merchant ID so that I can take online payments, but still, things are nearly in place now.

We spent a nice few days in Berlin at The Hoist Basements which has a huge basement dungeon, so I've posted up some pics for you in the gallery.

Fettered Pleasures kindly made me up a very lovely blue soft leather puppy collar. This was the last the leather too so I shall be a fairly individually dressed pup. I think it's very cute :)

Pups (especially elderly ones such as myself!) need knee protection if they're to spend any time down on all fours particularly if it's on hard floors.

I've tried loads of kneepads over the years and they've all been somewhat lacking - either they slip off (hard to put back on if you have mitts on) or bunch up round the back of the knee. It doesn't matter which ones I tried - whether they be hard BMX ones, builder's style or even dedicated kink ones, they all suffered from the usual issues.

However, I've recently splurged on a pair of Adidas wrestling kneepads which work really well.

They stay stuck on whilst scrabbling around and don't bunch up too badly and come in several sizes. The only downside is the adidas logo (but I guess that could probably be removed) and the fact that they're sold singly means that a pair is about £40. The flipside is that if you lose or bust up one you can easily replace it. They can be a little more difficult to pull on over rubber, but nothing major.

Anyway, I'd say £40 is worth the money.

A pair of arse zippered bleachers arrived the other day which I'm going to wear at Folsom along with some nice boots and an as yet undetermined rubber top (probably a hoodie if I can get one made up that I like). Oh, and my tail sticking out :)

I have my new cage!

It's been custom built by puppycages.co.uk from a very poor scribble I did. Arrived today in three very heavy but expertly packed boxes, and took very little time to put together. The quality is really excellent, the welding and finishing all perfect. Lots of attention to detail too, like spare covering for the base in case it gets ripped and spare bolts (and a free spanner!).

All together, a perfect bit of kit and for £250 - a total bargain. Hopefully I'll post pics of it in use soon!
